I've just discovered today how ridiculously TINY the cosplay/expo world is!

(Also, I had my first proper exam in uni today. It was okay, I hope. Touch wood.)

Wow, I haven't posted a journal since last year O_O

Just shows how active I am on dA these days I guess. Heh.

But anyway. Due to my inactivity, I had 1,740 messages. And I got tired of that. So I've just had a mass clearance of... everything. Literally everything If I've ignored you or haven't faved some of your work or something... I'M SORRY But I promise I will next time you put something up x)

As for updates... I'm now a first year medical student at King's College London. And damned proud of it too, seeing as my offer was AAA but I [shockingly] only got ABB at A level ._____. But they still let me in, without a fuss I love King's I haven't had much of a Christmas "holiday" this year though as I'm frantically revising for my first exam, which is NEXT TUESDAY AAAARGH. I've got to memorise, maybe learn, 107 lectures by then. And when do I go back to London? Sunday. Day after New Year's. OTL

I've got so many pics that need uploading here xD I know I keep saying I'll upload them when I find the time to... but to be honest, I never do. Oh well.

Well, I haven't updated in a while. Finished my exams and am now back in South Africa, my homeland, doing work experience in a local hospital. Read about my exploits if you wish: kytiane.blogspot.com

Being in South Africa again means that I can see all of my old friends again, visit all of my old childhood haunts again and see first hand the damage that those burglars that I talked about in the previous journal did. But still, expect a lot of photos! ^-^

Hmm. Short journal. I'm off to update my various diaries, practise piano and cook. Bye all.

....Oh yeah, I helped deliver a baby by Caesarian section today. Go me |D

And LOL, the whole of South Africa got rick rolled the other day when Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up" came on the radio. I'm being serious. To be honest, I don't think South Africans have heard of rick rolling.... if they have, whoever was in the radio station that day had a very cruel sense of humour >(

Today started awfully. Found out that last night, our house in SA had been burgled and ransacked. The burglars broke down all of the doors, except for the front one and stole everything. TV, hi-fi, DVD player, VHS player, 2 computers, microwave, kettle, sewing machine, overlocker, suitcases, 8 cartons of ethanol, parents' testing equipment for our machines, even my old clothes in my wardrobe! And our house in SA is surrounded on all sides by a 2m high brick wall - except for the side that borders our neighbours. So we think it's them. And we think it's an organised crime. Because this isn't the first time we've been burgled by our neighbour whilst in England. It really sucks. So now my dad has to fly back to SA ASAP - as in, tomorrow. This is going to cost us well over the thousands of pounds mark. ¬_______¬

But, on the plus side, I got my AS results today [or rather, yesterday.] I GOT TWO A's!! 8DDD I got an A in Maths, module C1 - 93% (Which I'm not really happy about to be honest, as I know I made some really absurd mistakes ¬_¬) and an A in chemistry - 100% in the UMS marks!!! 8DDD I probably dropped a few raw marks, but hey... universities look at the UMS score... in which I got 100% |DDDD

So yeah. Day started awfully, got better in the middle and is now tending towards the awful side again. I've got so much work x.x I've spent the past few hours finishing a commission for tomorrow instead of doing the 3 essays and 20 Stats questions I was set for homework... oops ¬_¬
